Hello Friend:
If you are not sure where to start in feeling better, and you just want some more sophisticated testing that your conventional doctor refuses to test, then this is the deep dive you want to take.
Our sophisticated blood panel will give you baseline and advanced information, not used by your primary care doctor. In fact, you will learn more from this panel than you thought possible. You will catch diabetes 10 years before it occurs, you will learn if you have inflammation so you can start changing your lifestyle, and you will get nutrient information that can help you prevent cancer and improve your energy.
Additionally, in this plan, we are going to explore 96 foods & 3 immunglobulins that can potentially be what is driving your dysfunction. Read below in the FAQs for more information about food sensitivities.
And of course, you will be receiving expert interpretation & action plan by me.
In Love & Health,
Dr. Cheryl
Once you complete the online Intake Form that you will receive when you checkout, a lab requisition will be made for you and will be on file at any LabCorp. Depending on the LabCorp location, you may need to schedule an appointment for blood work.
Yes. You will need to fast for at least 8-10 hours.
No. These are specialized labs. Your insurance company will require additional.payment if these labs were ordered through them, and the price would be much higher.
It will take approximately 2 weeks for me to get all the lab work back. You can schedule with me any time, once you schedule your lab work.
This will depend on what is discovered and how you plan to proceed with treatment. As a general rule, if you do nothing different, you should retest at least every 6 months.
No, I cannot prescribe on this plan, but you are welcome to upgrade and a prescriptive plan can be make for you if indicated and desired.
Food allergies trigger an immediate immune response (often IgE) and can be life-threatening. Intolerances are non-immune responses--like lactose intolerance. Sensitivities (usually IgA or IgG), are delayed immune responses that cause chronic inflammation, fatigue, bloating, headaches, joint pain, skin issues, and more---often hours or even days later.
Conventional medicine typically only tests for food allergies (IgE), not sensitivities. Most standard doctors aren't trained in how delayed immune reactions show up, and frankly--they're often dismissed as "not real." But your symptoms are real. And they often have food at the root.
Some are better than others. Not all tests are created equal. That's why we use only highly validated clinically useful labs and interpret them in the full context of your health history--not in a vacuum. Food sensitivity tests are just one tool in a larger toolbox.
Great question. If your gut is leaky (increased intestinal permeability), even normally healthy foods can slip through the gut barrier and trigger immune responses. The good news? These are often temporary and reversible with the right gut healing protocol.
Nope. This isn't about living on air and ice cubes. The goal is to remove the most inflammatory offenders temporarily while we heal the gut and immune system--so you can reintroduce many foods safely down the road.
Yes. Chronic low-grade inflammation from food sensitivities can disrupt hormones like insulin and cortisol, increase water retention, and effect your metabolism and cravings.
Unlike food allergies, sensitivities can cause delayed symptoms--anywhere from 2 to 72 hour later. This makes them very hard to identify without testing or tracking.
Yes, upon request, we can provide you a superbill with diagnostic codes so you can try to seek reimbursement. However, we make no guarantees that your insurance company will reimburse you.
